VOX Cinemas runs a daily screening schedule of its own, and the last film generally starts after the shops have shut. If you book a late screening you will find the retail floor closed on the way out while the cinema and nearby dining stay open.

Some restaurants open before the shops to serve breakfast, and others run past mall closing. The hypermarket usually keeps wider hours than the rest of the ground floor, which makes it the practical option late in the evening.

Stores also pause briefly at each prayer time and reopen immediately after. It is a short interruption, but it matters if you are arriving for one specific store with little time to spare.

During Ramadan the pattern inverts to a night schedule: a later opening, a closing well past midnight, and the busiest hours falling between the evening prayer and suhoor. Most stores shut briefly just before sunset and reopen after iftar — the quietest window of the entire month.

At Eid hours extend and footfall reaches its annual peak. The last ten nights of Ramadan and the night before Eid are the hardest times of the year to find parking; shopping a week earlier saves a great deal of time.
