Editorial Policy

A guide people plan visits around should say where its information comes from. This page explains how we gather it, how we check it, and what we do when we get something wrong.

Effective: An independent guide, not the mall's official site

Who makes this guide

The site is produced by the Riyadh Park Guide editorial team, a small independent team that follows Riyadh Park and the surrounding north Riyadh area. Our aim is to answer the practical questions visitors actually search — where is the store, which floor, when does it open, where do I park — with direct answers they can rely on.

We are not part of the mall's management and receive no funding or direction from it. To reach the editorial team: info@riyadhpark.net.

Where information comes from

We use a clear order of sources and take each fact from the highest one available:

1. Official sources: the mall operator's website, brands' official sites and apps (VOX Cinemas for screens and showtimes, for example), and government bodies for regulations (such as the Ministry of Commerce and the Ministry of Human Resources).

2. Established public references: such as Wikipedia and Wikidata, for fixed facts like the opening year and coordinates.

3. The mall directory and visitor corrections: store and floor lists are built from the mall directory and revised when visitors report a closure or opening.

We do not copy content from other sites. The Arabic and English versions are each written separately rather than machine-translated, because Arabic and English visitors search in different ways.

How we verify, and how we label what is unconfirmed

Details that change often — hours, ticket prices, offers — are presented as fact only when a recent official source confirms them. Anything we cannot confirm is labelled as "approximate" or "check before you visit", with a pointer to the official source.

We do not publish a page just because people search for the topic. Pages we could not yet make genuinely useful were kept out of search indexes until we rewrote them with real, practical content.

How often pages are updated

Every page shows a visible "last updated" date at its foot, which changes only when the information actually changes — not when a page is merely republished. Core pages (hours, cinema, parking) are reviewed regularly, and before major seasons such as Ramadan, Eid and National Day.

Corrections

When we find an error — ourselves or through a visitor — we fix it on the page and update its date. Errors that could affect someone's visit (a wrong time, a closed store) are fixed first.

Send corrections through the feedback page. We review every report and usually reply within 7 days.

Photos

We use only genuine photographs taken inside and outside Riyadh Park. We do not publish AI-generated images or photos of other malls as if they were this one, and we never put one store’s photo on another store’s card — which is why store and restaurant cards show a category mark instead of a picture.

Every image’s alt text describes what is actually in the frame. If you hold rights in an image published here, contact us and we will review it.

Independence from advertising

The site is funded by Google ads, which are chosen automatically and have nothing to do with editorial content. We accept no payment to list a store or restaurant, to improve its position or wording, or to remove accurate negative information.

The order of stores and restaurants on our pages is based on usefulness to the reader — floor, category, reason for visiting — never on any commercial relationship.
